In 1983, my late husband's lung cancer brought me to the door called "MACROBIOTICS." I have been teaching macrobiotic and vegetarian cooking for twenty years. I graduated from the Kushi Institute Extension program. In the summer, you can find me in the Lake Tahoe National Forest cooking in the woods for the George Oshawa Macobiotic Foundation. Besides being a part of the kitchen staff, I present lectures on feng shui, give individual feng shui consultations, and congee cooking classes. I have taught quick, easy and healthy cooking classes for kids. It was there that I connected with the late Dr. Benjamin Spock, the children's baby doctor turned macrobiotic. It was a pleasure to cook for him on his frequent visits to Cleveland.
While in Cleveland, I was employed at Mustard Seed Market and Café as a cook/baker, lecturer and cooking class teacher. Other places to find me were: IGA Supercenter in Green and Hartville, Synergy University Hospital, Health Expos at Cleveland Convention Center, and cook at Cuyahoga Valley Retreats/Weekend Seminars with Bob Carr.
After retiring from teaching sixth grade, I moved to Colorado and taught Feng shui classes at the Wyndham Peaks Resort and authored the Overnight Congee Cooklet and Feng Shui for Harmony Handbook. I currently write Feng Shui and Biogeometry articles for Natural Highs: A Southwestern Colorado Health and Wellness Journal.
